Hello! My name is Laura, and I’m a human, not a dinosaur! I’ve worked for many years in Travel, Finance and Sustainability. I love to get the best value for money when I travel, and I aim to help you with ideas to do the same. Getting value for money doesn’t necessarily mean going for the cheapest option – it means getting the most for your money, depending on what you place value on.
I like to get away to far flung destinations when I can, but I’m also perfectly happy checking out the latest happenings in Brighton and Hove. What else is there to tell you? I’m impatient, I have a short attention span, and I get travel sick. This is unlikely to be the place to come for 12 hour bus rides – I have neither the patience or the constitution.
Photos on this site are taken by either myself or Ben (my boyfriend) unless otherwise credited. We use a combination of cameras – Fujifilm XE-1, Ricoh GR, Nikon Coolpix P330, and the good old iPhone. Generally speaking, the nicer the photo, the higher the chance it was taken by Ben. If it’s blurry, or there are fingers visible, that’s one of mine 🙂
< Farrukh from Implausible Blog took this photo of me during a recent media preview of the i360 in Brighton.
